A problem report was submitted for this, but I wanted to mention it here just in case somebody has experience. I was helping a friend this past week in doing some cuts with Pearl. After a minute or two of continuous cutting (1/4" birch), the laser would turn off but the head would keep tracing the intended cutting path. When this happened, Pearl also seemed to become unresponsive to user input (e.g., the PAUSE button didn’t function reliably). We had the blower and chiller running (chiller typically below 20C when these incidents occurred). The laser looked okay (using the mirror to view the underside of the head).
I’m curious as to the cause and any remedies for this issue. We ended up doing 90-second runs with a 90-second “cool down” between them to complete the work. Thank you, Steven
