Asmbly is opening a part-time Lead Ceramics Studio Technician position to provide operational leadership for our ceramics studio.
Our ceramics studio has become known for high-quality firings, consistent schedules, and a well-maintained space — and this role is central to keeping those standards. The Lead Ceramics Studio Technician leads our Studio Tech and Kiln Operations team, oversees kiln schedules and studio upkeep, and works closely with the Ceramics Lead, Facilities, and Education teams to ensure a smooth experience for members, students, and instructors.
This is a lead role for someone who brings hands-on ceramics experience and enjoys coordinating people, systems, and timelines — while staying actively involved in the day-to-day work of the studio.
18–22 hours/week
Onsite with limited remote hours
Prior experience firing electric kilns required
Team leadership experience preferred
