Join us this Thursday, November 20th at 7pm for this month’s Entrepreneur SIG at Asmbly!
I’ll be hosting an open discussion on the current climate for small businesses and makers, including practical strategies for staying relevant and maintaining sales during an economic downturn. I look forward to both sharing from my own experience and research, and learning from others.
Whether you’re actively running a business or simply curious about entrepreneurship, you’re welcome to join us in Asmbly’s Multipurpose Room.
Tonight’s Entrepreneur SIG meet-up was a success! We welcomed three new attendees, bringing fresh energy, new ideas, and exciting early-stage businesses to the group. It was inspiring to hear about their ventures, the motivations behind them, and the challenges they’re navigating as new founders in today’s economic climate.
Our discussion naturally expanded into a thoughtful exploration of relevant markets, customer discovery, and effective ways to sell in a season when consumer behavior is shifting. Together, we unpacked what it means to launch or grow a business during an economic downturn—from staying adaptable and resourceful to finding creative ways to market with limited budgets.
Overall, it was an energizing night filled with connection and learning. Thanks to everyone who joined—new and returning— and contributed to such a meaningful conversation. Looking forward to seeing you at the next session!
