As Robert posted elsewhere, the Metal Shop Volunteer Day that was scheduled for Saturday (but that I never got around to reminding everyone about) is not happening because of concerns about the weather. There are no pressing metal shop needs right now, so we will just wait until next month.

Hello. It looks like the next volunteer day is 2/28. Is this still on? Also, do I need to have taken metal shop safety in order to come and volunteer?
AFAIK it’s still on! You do not need to take MSS in order to volunteer. @mgmoore and/or @SavHarvey will be there to supervise.
I will be there for sure! We have a couple ground clamps on the welding side that got delivered we can swap out, along with the usual mopping, cleaning grinding masks, replacing welding helmet shields, organizing, getting a list of consumables that could use replacing, also last work day I think @aneel and others had some things planned for the tormach (may have been resolved since last work day not positive) as always anybody that would like to know how to swap out gas tanks/MIG wire, I can show that as well

Yeah, I dropped the ball on posting about the work day, but I will also be there tomorrow with a few projects for people to help with.
