The sand blaster is one of the few machines that can be difficult for tall people to use. It is very difficult to bend over and insert your hands in the glove apertures and still see what you are doing. To address this, the sand blaster has been raised a few inches, with a new platform provided so shorter people can still use it. The platform can also be used in other areas of the shop.
It is stored back by the sand blaster, next to the gas bottles and welding curtains.
The platform is 36” wide by 30” deep. You can use it in various increments. Level 0 is just the top, 1”.
There are four additional heights, each adding 1-1/4”, up to 6”. They interlock a little for stability.
