New Class Offering: Microcontrollers - Make a Robotic Arm

I’m excited to announce our newest electronics class: Microcontrollers - Make a Robotic Arm!

This course introduces the fundamentals of operating an Arduino Uno microcontroller, including programming and connecting various peripheral devices. Participants will gain the foundational skills needed to develop their own electronics projects and implement mechanical control. By the end of the class, you will have coded and assembled a small robotic arm using 3d printed parts and various motors and electronics.

Video of the arm in action:

@YellowEng has designed this class from the bottom up to be an extremely accessible way to learn more about microcontrollers. No prior electronics or programming experience is necessary. All materials are provided, including an electronics kit with an Arduino Uno, servo motor, stepper motor, potentiometer, buttons, resistors, etc.

You will need to bring a laptop to this class!

If you would like to join the inaugural class, please register at the link below:

Awesome! So excited about this, I can’t wait to take it myself. I think a lot of folks have been eager to get started with microcontrollers and this ought to be a great introduction.

Missed your chance to sign up for the Robotic Arm course?
No worries—hop on the waitlist! If there’s more interest, we’ll try to hatch another session sooner. :hatching_chick:

I’d love to offer this class more than once so more people can harness the power of microcontrollers. With the skills you’ll gain, you’ll be able to automate all your projects—think doors, drawers, lights—using sensors that detect motion, sound, temperature, and more.

Feel free to message me with any questions. :green_heart::green_heart:
