The new large bandsaw, a Grizzly G0569, 24 inch 7 HP saw will be online Saturday.
No adjustments allowed, except for:
Fence
Cutting height.
No blade changes - call a steward or report via red QR code.
Only use for resawing or straight cuts. No curves.
Do not adjust bearings or tension. Do not release tension.
If you see a problem that you think needs these adjustments, report using any red QR code.
Try to get to a demo before using.
More demos daily through Sunday.
You can always ask a steward for help.
The brake pedal is the off switch. Push hard.
If you are cutting logs, use a fixture. You will have to build your own. It is a good idea to run a metal detector across logs.
All of that said, this bandsaw is a joy to use. A whole different experience than the previous saw. It is extremely stable, and the blade is nice and sharp.
The blade is a 1 inch Timber Wolf, 3 TPI.
