I was wondering if someone who’s able to use the metal lathe could tap an M14 x 1.5 thread for me in some mild steel round bar stock. It would be a through hole, and you’d have to thread about an inch or an inch and a half or so. I have the tap and the drill, but I haven’t taken the lathe course yet and the next class is in two weeks. I plan on taking it, but was wondering if I could get this little job done before then.

Ethan (MS lead) is teaching the lathe class tonight. He said he could do it for you after class tonight (around 9 or 9:15 PM if you can make it by the space then.

Ah shoot, I’m sorry that I didn’t see this earlier. Maybe I’ll just bring my part to the lathe class when I take it X-D.
