My first woodworking project

Greetings all!

After almost 2 months in the making, I’ve finally finished my first project. This is a dining room table, made from rift white oak, which I got exclusively from Austin Fine Lumber. I made plans myself, using Sketchup, but it was heavily inspired by a design from “Rad Dad Builds” on youtube. Its sanded to 320 grit and finished with a double coat of Osmo Polyx oil.

I want to give a big thanks to the many folks who gave me advice and lended their assistance. I joined Asmbly to complete this project, but have been blown away by how awesome the facility and community is here. Looking forward to many more projects to come!
