I made this vase in David Disko’s class last weekend. It was my first real project on the lathe and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. David is a great teacher and I highly recommend his class.

Thank you. The quilt is actually a placemat quilted by my son’s girlfriend, Kahleia Hawkins. She is quite talented. This is a toss off compared to some of her quilts.
