Also @Glory2God (Michael Doto) also has some slot mills that I bought and gave to him.
Yes those would work! With a 1/2” slot, we’d need glass that is .75” oversized for the hole @jamesfreeman
Yes, one of the doors (the first one made) was flattened on the CNC to get to final thickness and eliminate any warp. I think original intention was to use the belt sander, but these are a bit too wide plan is to flatten the rest the same way—they should be pretty flat already but can’t hurt
Let me know when you want me to bring them in.
Can you bring them in by tomorrow?
Today (Tuesday)? I’m free anytime before 7:00pm.
I’ll be there between 5 and 6
I don’t think I can come today anymore, but I’ll be there tomorrow, sometime around 6:00PM! If you leave the bits somewhere by the doors, we can route the pockets. I’m not sure if the doors have been flattened yet, but if they have been and anyone wants to give it a shot before I get there, they’re welcome to. Just make sure you talk to James or I beforehand so we’re on the same page with size of the rabbets and depth and everything.
My router bits had 1/2" shafts, not useable in any but the table router.
We realized the dewalt plunge router will accept a 1/2" bit @sneezix. Can you bring the bits back Sat?
I looked at that one, but didn’t think it would work. I’ll bring them in on Saturday.
If you can’t find a router, I have two at home that accept 1/2", but I can’t come by until Sunday.
