Hey gang - I’m in NYC thru Tuesday 5/7 and would love to check out a makerspace and do a quick laser project. Any recommendations? I know the city well, but know little about maker/hacker spaces there. Thanks!

while i never actually had the need to go there when i still lived in the area, a former coworker is part of the management there and there was always lots of great happenings going on there and should be quite legit.
not quite sure how it stacks up to ours, but i know they had a solid machine shop which is what i was interested in at the time
