Hey makers! Anyone else going to Open Sauce this year? @torchedguitar and I will be there and would love to meet up with Asmbly folks if possible. I think @Spex_guy mentioned possibly going?
Also, we decided to go to LA for the first time before the convention. We randomly ended up going to LA Maker Meetup and meeting Simone Giertz along with a lot of other cool makers like Dianna, aka Physics Girl (especially cool seeing her out and about given her recent health struggles). Probably the most exciting part of LA was Simone letting us come see her workshop
Wow, amazing! I’m flying in to SF on Tuesday, exploring the city for a few days, and then going to the conference Sat/Sun and flying out Monday. Looking forward to it! Would love to meet up with anyone else who’s going!
This will be our second time attending. It’s a ton of fun, I highly recommend checking it out some year if you can! The project exhibits are absolutely amazing and there are so many. Last time we went we were there for all hours it was open and still struggled to see everything.
