Join ATXHS Discourse hax0r group for access
Hey Hackers,
Exciting news! ATXHS is officially open to all paying members via the ATXHS Discourse hax0r group. Check out the screenshots below to see how to join. As mentioned previously, we will be phasing out our Google Group email lists as we complete the transition to Discourse over the next few weeks.
If you are coming to the space for the first time in a while, be sure to review the “Requirements for Access” and “Expectations at ATXHS” pages outlined in the Reopen Plan doc at bit.ly/atxhs-reopen.
If you have questions about the reopening, please email the Reopen Team at reopen@atxhs.org. This team consists of thoughtful members in the ATXHS community who have stepped up to put in time, research, and respectful debate to help formulate how we move forward. Please reach out to join the team if you’ve got the bandwidth and capacity to participate in this way!
Don’t forget, our 1st Wednesday Member Meeting is coming up this week — June 3 at 7:30 PM . See the details below in EVENTS. Also, I kept the quick links to information at the bottom of this email like the last update. Use at your leisure!

How to Get Access
Once you submit a request, a volunteer moderator will check your membership status and approve your request. If you don’t get approved within 24 hours, feel free to email reopen@atxhs.org to inquire.
Reopen Updates
We are officially in Phase 2 (all paying members access)! Some important things to note:
EVENTS
No workshop required, just come chat, talk about your projects if you like or just hang out. It’s an open space to connect with each other.
Official business (including reading of proposals, Director of PR discussion, etc.) will be conducted at this meeting. If you have a proposal you would like to present, please post it to yo.atxhs.org/c/ops/proposals prior to the meeting so members can start reviewing and discussing.
Following this meeting, voting will be opened for B-share members in Helios. To become a voting member, fill out this form, sign and email it to board-private@atxhs.org. The ops team will invoice you for $100 - fully refundable - and send instructions for casting votes.
We have a few areas of the space which are not yet bookable because the sanitation docs have not been written up (including 3D printers and the autobay). Eric has written details on what we need here. In that document, you will also find links to all the sanitation docs (which will live in this folder here). If you don’t see docs for an area you are interested in booking, help us make them! If you have questions, please reach out to reopen@atxhs.org for assistance from the Reopening Team.
