Looking for Someone who can work on CO2 Lasers

I am reaching out here as I honestly don’t know where else to start. I was a member at Asmbly for about 6 months last year. I purchased a Laguna 100 watt from a gentleman shutting down his personal shop. My laser has stopped firing. My husband thinks it’s the tube, I worry it may be something else. So I was hoping to find someone who knows the innerworkings of these machines better than us, or a point in the direction of how we can find service for it. We are definitely ready to pay for servicing, it’s just a fringe kind of machine to find someone qualified to work on it…?

Please and thank you, any help is greatly appreciated.

Can do!

They’re fairly easy to test. Laguna doesn’t actually make laser tubes or the laser machines, they’re reselling G. Weiki. They’re “nothing special”, which can be a plus. You generally wouldn’t need to get any parts from Laguna, which is good because they don’t really have a parts department to support them.

The tube going out is really common. It can be power supply or interlocks though, so worth it to check since the tube is expensive.

There’s some mods I’d recommend on that model, plus I can install, align, and give it a tuning that is second to none.
