Looks like there’s an Adobe creative cloud subscription on the community computers, which is where illustrator and Photoshop is coming from. Lightroom Classic is included in that same subscription, and I’d love to be able to use that instead of buying a separate subscription at home for it. Can I/we download that on the community space computers? It’s available through the adobe platform
Hey Jonny,
I can download Lightroom Classic on our computers next time I drop by. ![]()
Thanks Natanael!
just curious because i am consolidating an older aperture and now a newer photos database.
how are you planning on using this?
Are you planning to host your Lightroom Catalog on a USB hard drive?
Yeah, was just gonna host on a USB/external drive.
This isn’t a long term plan for me. I haven’t shot digital in nearly 10 years, been just shooting film. So I’m testing the waters again to see if I want to dive back in to long postprocessing sessions, or if Im really just cool with my film.
This would be a nice bridge to see if I want to go deeper with the whole set up at home or not
I’ve installed Lightroom Classic on both computers. ![]()
Incidentally, you don’t need to spring for the whole CC subscription to get Lightroom. Lightroom alone is $12/mo. And with Photoshop $20/mo. Which I don’t really understand because Photoshop alone is $23/mo.
