This was mentioned in the Woodshop channel, but there is a new red fire safety sign in the laser room.
We keep fire safety equipment in the laser room - water bottle, fire blanket, and a fire extinguisher.
Fires in the lasers aren’t frequent, but when they happen, a spray bottle with water will often take care of it. If that doesn’t do it, then there is the fire blanket. And of course, as a last resort, the fire extinguisher.
Also, please note that if you have a laser project running, you may not leave the laser room. If you have to step out, hit the pause button on your run. Play button when you get back.
