Laser red tag?

I booked time to use the Blue laser yesterday, but there was a red tag taped to the front. I didn’t use it, but couldn’t find anything here on what is wrong with it or an update on the status. Just wanted to flag and clarify if it is usable. Thanks!

My apologies, looks like our red tag dropped off the system in Skedda erroneously. It’s back on there as of last night

Blue’s laser source is currently experiencing some problems that are being troubleshooted (troubleshot?)

Same issue as of June 6th, Blue is still out of commission? And there are no other small lasers for me to use?

Blue is still out of commission. We expect to send the laser source off for repair this next week. It is currently the only small laser we have.

I’d estimate the downtime at about a month.

There’s a number of reasons I recommended decommissioning it, but the refurb time wasn’t even part of the reasoning for that.

Thanks for your replies. It’s just frustrating when I’m only trained on the small lasers and the only machine I can use now won’t be available for another month. I guess I need to get trained on the big lasers.
