Laser Lab Donation: USB-C adapters!

I was in the laser room last week and realized there were no ports on the laser PCs for my USB-C flash drive, so today I installed some small USB-C adapters into the front of all 4 machines. There’s a spare in one of the tool drawers just in case. They’re a nice transparent blue color so they should be easy to spot!

Be advised that the adapters are pretty tight and might come out when you pull the flash drive / cable out. Please make sure to reinsert them into the PC if this happens so fellow MacBook users like me can continue using them :slight_smile:

Those SuperSpeed capable? If so, just note they would transfer faster in the blue USB 3 ports. Sorry in advance for being that person. Neat.

They are 2.0 adapters, so capped at 480 Mbps. My main goal was to find something low-profile and the 3.0 adapters are necessarily larger.
