To make tools easier to find (and to spare everyone the drawer-by-drawer scavenger hunt), we’ve installed Gridfinity tool organizers in the drawers for Dorian and Tarkin. Organizers for the other lasers will be added over the next few days.
A couple of requests to keep things running smoothly:
• Please return tools to the same slot you took them from. The organizers only work if tools end up back where they belong.
• Only the tools shown in the trays should live in those drawers. Each slot is sized for a specific tool, so extras don’t have a home there.
• Miscellaneous tools - these belong in the misc drawers located between the laser specific drawers.
• Avoid removing tools from the laser room - some of the tools in our organizers are different from those elsewhere in the space, and other similar tools will not fit in the organizers
