I need to weld 8 large steel planters at my backyard workshop. I could weld myself, but it’s going to be around 60 linear feet and rather hire someone with more mig welding experience. You would be using my Titanium Ultimate 240v mig setup. I would be assisting with setup.
It will be next to my workshop on the concrete patio, so not air condition work space, but mostly shaded with fans.
The planters are 1/8" thick mild steel, 5 x 10 x 1 foot tall, with 1/2" rebar cross bracing. I will have all flat steel cut to size and be cutting the rebar as we go. (If anyone has suggestions on using a different construction method, let’s hear it!)
I am estimating it will take around 5 hours. I’m offering $40 to $60/hr depending on your experience. If we finish early it will still be 5 hours minimum pay. (Venmo or Paypal)
I am about 4 miles southwest of Asmbly, near ACC Highland.
I’m looking at having this done in between Friday and next Wednesday or so.
