The jointer has been modified, removing the pull pin. Cut depth is limited to 1/16 max. This will preserve the carbides, yet still provide an adequate cut depth.
Some backlash was removed from the adjustment wheel, so you don’t need to turn it as far as before, when reversing direction of previous adjustment.
