Is the Festool Domino Red tagged?

I noticed last month on Skedda the Domino was red tagged, but now on Skedda its open to reserve. I went to use the tool today and noticed it was not in the assigned cabinet so I was wondering if it was still out for servicing and if there is an estimate for when it will be back and available for use?

I tried searching the forum for a thread on it but didn’t see any recent ones. so I figured I’d start one.

Looks like it is still out of commission and in need of repair.

Sorry the booking wasn’t blocked off, I’ll try and get that done so it doesn’t waste anyone a trip up.

I believe there has been some difficulty locating the invoice/receipt for the Domino which is needed to determine if it is still under warranty/if an extended warranty was purchased. I know this was being worked on mid-December (I was around for some of the discussions), but probably came to a stand-still over the holidays. There has been some discussion on Slack about it this past week. I think they’re still trying to dertermine if it can be serviced under warranty or if we need to pay for repairs or a replacement.

The domino was sent off for repair by Festool yesterday. I do not know the turnaround, but I expect it will be a matter of weeks as opposed to days or months.
