I was using the bandsaw the other day and noticed that 11 ga sheet was able to get under the moveable jaw. I found that the bolt that holds the moveable jaw down to the cut surface was stripped.
I was able to drill and tap a new larger diameter bolt. It is now functioning as it should.
I also noticed the saw could use some adjustments. I’m really thinking of changing the bandsaw guide support design. I made that part a long time ago when we only had a harbor freight table top mill. You would not believe how terrible that was.
I’m going to look at the hinge as well. I’m thinking of working on the bandsaw during the workday
