I found the name of the screwdriver bit for electrical work – it’s “ECX”, for “electrical combination”. It combines a flathead with a “Robertson” which is a little square. I added these names to the notes.
Next time (January) we’ll fire up the Home Assistant Green and add the lightswitch on the demo wall to be controllable from it. We’ll also let someone volunteer to demo pulling a neutral wire to a switch-loop box to wire up another Z-wave switch. In February, we can go over 3-way (and more-way) switch setups, show diagrams of how they work, and then replace one with smart switches and add it to Home Assistant.
