HICAM, Startup community space

FYI, there is a facility going in that is similar to a maker space. It is a non-profit and they plan to grow the advanced manufacturing community. It will have robots and CNC mills. It is for advanced manufacturing and is intended to be a community hub. They will have a meeting space and an inviting decor. (The same movie prop folks who designed the Capital Factory robot for the Voltron Room are working on this project.) They do a lot of the Robert Rodriguez films.

The space is 50,000 square feet and is intended for startup companies.

I recommend getting on the newsletter. https://www.hicam.io/

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up.

I just looked up the Executive Director, and funny enough I’ve heard of his other earlier project “Future Space” in New York. It has a great reputation amongst my creative friends out there.

If this is anything like it, the maker/creative community will be well served.
