I’d like to inlay some initials into a cutting board, and wondering if someone laser-savvy would be willing to cut the job for me? (Happy to compensate for your time.)
My hope is to cut the letters out of walnut and the circle of surrounding material out of maple, both about 3/16” thick. (I’m hoping this is relatively simple…?)
Just shoot me a note if you have the bandwidth for this. This is a finishing touch to the longest overdue wedding present ever, so no urgency here by any means.
Yes, the plan is to put all of this into a 1/8" (+/-) circle on the cutting board. I had assumed the laser might be easier to achieve the serif details, both male and female, but I’m open to either tool if they are equally doable… Thanks, Billy.
