Help with laser cutting metal

Hey y’all!

I’m working on a project that could use some laser cut thin sheet metal. I’ve cut plenty of wood with the Asmbly small lasers, but is that something possible with the bigger ones? Not sure where to start there.

The lasers in the laser cutter room won’t cut sheet metal. The fiber laser will, but it’s not available yet.

I think that depends on the type of material and size.

I can cut it. I assume you have a digital file ready?

If the shapes are simple enough and hand steady enough, the plasma cutter on the welding side.. does create slag on the backside that will need chipped off too though
