I’m building a Curing station for my resin printer and I sketched up want I want to do but I’m having some issues with the door, the hinge to be exact. I’m using 1/4in MDF so I’m not sure if I can mortise a hinge with the thickness being so shallow or should I use scrap material to make the area where the screws would go in for the hinge thicker (1/2in) and use a 3/8in screw to fasten. Is there a best way or is it dealers choice?
