Gummed up handheld sander

Hey all,

I gummed up one of the hook-and-loop pads on one of the Dewalt sanders from not waiting long enough for my finish to dry. I made a donation for a replacement. I didn’t have the vacuum on so I think that should be fine and I stopped sanding pretty quickly, I think the hook and loop pad should still be usable for a little while longer.

It’s no problem. The sanding pads are considered consumable. You may want to consider purchasing your own personal stock. I buy 3M Xtract Cubitron, because I do as YouTube tells me (It’s very effective and cheap).

To be clear, I gummed up my own sanding pad (that I threw out) AND the hook-and-loop interface on the sander.
