Good place to get a log sawed into planks

I have a log with with some sentimental value I would like to get sawn into thick planks for a bench (or at least try to, I’m not sure how the center of the log is). Any ideas as far as a place that would do this as a service?

TX urban sawmill does custom milling. I think they’ll even pick up and drop off.

TX Urban sawmill is nice but a bit big for small projects.

I’ve used 40 Oaks on Nutty Brown to resaw a smaller project. Seth is a nice guy.

I bought a slab-ish thing at Tx Urban last weekend and left it behind to get it milled. They charged me $30 for the extra work for a piece of wood I got from their sale pile.

You might try giving Harvest Lumber a call to see if they’d be able to help you…
