This is my first time doing any prototyping of any note. I’m working with an Arduino to illuminate three LEDs and play a tone on each. My code looks good (it works, at least virtually). Now to move it from bread board to a finished useable product I’m at a loss on how to do that. Do I have to have a PCB fabricated at this point? Do I solder a Feather Huzzah onto the PCB and then solder off the PCB to my connections?
Typically I solder header pins to my dev board and solder female pins to a protoboard. So the expensive piece can always be removed and reused. Same with any ICs, at least early on.
Maybe it would help if you clarified “finished project.”
If I were ordering PCBs I probably wouldn’t order anything that a Huzzah would be soldered into, that’s an expensive development board.
