Skutt is a good brand, so these are likely worth picking up for someone in the market for a kiln. Before you do though, be aware these will require a dedicated 240V 50A outlet and 18-24 inches of clearance on all sides from anything flammable. Check the soft brick for cracks, cracks in the lid aren’t a huge deal but cracks in the bottom can be difficult to repair. The elements may also need to be replaced, and if so they are about $100 a level. Still, these retail new for thousands.
