Like the title says, I’m trying to flash Coreboot on the BIOS chip of my Thinkpad X220T. However, no matter what I seem to do in terms of troubleshooting, I can’t get flashrom to read the chip for the initial build of coreboot itself. I’m to the point where I am about to try removing the chip with a heat gun, but I’m a bit at the limit of my knowledge, so I was wondering: is anyone in the area familiar with doing this, and able to give it a shot themselves?
