I’m finally attempting to fix my Prusa mini at home today thanks to some time off. (Getting this error: https://help.prusa3d.com/article/mintemp-error-bed-12207-mini_154837)Best I can figure with my limited experience is that the heatbed is messed up. I checked the resistance with a multimeter and was getting a reading of 4.5Ω when it should be 6.5-7. A couple of questions for you experienced folks if you have a second and don’t mind helping with unofficial business:
Is there anything else I should check before I look into buying a new $75 heatbed? (Perhaps a cheaper wire? haha)
Is there a place I should spare Prusa parts from besides their store, or is their store the best bet?
Thank you all for the help! I realized I should update here. Replacing the heatbed thermistor fixed it; thanks for the advice! I also learned a lesson: some corners should not be cut by trying to order cheaper parts from Amazon to save on shipping costs haha! With the new thermistor, a nozzle cleaning, and a z height adjustment, it is printing better than ever.
