Not specifically makerspace related. A lot of the skills that I learned at our makerspace helped make this happen. My team AusTin Cans 2158 won the Waco tournament this last weekend.
Congrats to you and all your students Joe! That’s awesome.
Joe,congratulations to you and to the team!
Congratulations Joe and your team!
Congratulations AusTin Cans!
Bravo Zulu, to you and the rest of the AusTin Cans team.

Wow, that’s quite a big machine, do you/they have any video showing it doing its thing?
Thank you we got a bit lucky to be picked by the number one alliance and we played defense or shuttled the orange rings to our fastest shooting alliance partner. We essentially played a role that they needed to win. We are back to the drawing board with renewed enthusiasm to make our robot better for our next competition.
There are qualifying matches that determine your rank. At the end of qualify matches. The top 8 teams choose 2 teams to join their alliance. That alliance stays the same for the quarterfinals, semis, and finals.
Congrats!
I did FRC with team 2122 (Team Tators) in high school and it was one of my favorite experiences. Got so much hands on engineering experience.
