I just made a bit of a mess while using the Tethys printer.
My 2nd print with Resin ever. I started it, the printer made some weird clicking sounds as it was lowering the platform, so I stopped it and started again.
Once the print was over, I discovered that was a mistake - apparently, it had already started curing the first layer for some of the parts (I was printing 6 of them), so stopping and restarting led to 3 not adhering to the bed well, and the other 3 never getting printed at all - the first layer stayed on the FEP.
Seeing only 3 parts coming out, I assumed the other 3 were left behind in the resin tank, so I dumped the resin back into the bottle through the funnel + white sieve. Observed the first layer of the 3 parts still remaining on the FEP, and carefully removed it from there. Inspected the FEP to confirm nothing else was left. Wiped the tank from all sides before reinstalling back into the printer.
I’m sorry for all this - I tried to clean everything to the best of my ability, but would still appreciate someone taking another look at Tethys and confirming it’s in okay shape. Ideally, I would’ve done a test print myself, but it already took me ~40 minutes to clean and unfortunately I’m out of time to wait for it.
