The Felder DC has been hooked up to auto start with tool triggers. All relevant tools in the woodshop should now turn the DC on. This should bypass the need to use the manual switch.
Keep an eye out for any problems, and let us know.

What’s the spool up time?
Based on running this morning, I’d say 1-2 seconds. I used the bandsaw several times and from the time I turned it on, the DC was running before I could make a cut—my wood was on the bandsaw table and all I needed to do was push it.
The dust collector starts as soon as a tool turns on.
It has a minimum timer of 5 minutes to run.
When a tool turns off, another timer runs for 1 minute to shut the DC down.
For example,
If you turn on the miter saw for a quick cut, the dust collector will turn on and stay on for 5 minutes.
If you turn on the planer for 10 minutes, the dust collector will stay on for one more minute effectively being on for 11 minutes.
