Electric Motor - Up for grabs?

Is this motor up for grabs? It’s on the floor next to the up for grabs shelf.

Put it on the shelf.

I think that was set aside during the Dust Collector Installation Day, but I don’t remember what it’s from.

If it says Sawstop on it then it was the motor we found during the dust collector install. At the time no one knew its history or what to do with it.

If it is that motor, boy howdy is it heavy.

If it is that motor, we still don’t know what it was here for. So… up for grabs!

The sawstop motor or the motor that was under the sawstop tablesaw by the back door is good and was supposed to be a spare. At one point a new one was ordered but in the process of replacing it was found that it was only a broken wire. So it was left there. Been collecting dust since then. I would keep it since is only a few $$$. But not my decision. The photo does not look like the one I’m talking about though.

To be clear, the motor I was asking about is not the sawstop motor. I agree with Jose, the sawstop motor is worth some money and Asmbly should either keep it or attempt to sell it. Thanks for the history Jose, I did always wonder why we had it.

Anyway, I’ve grabbed that old motor pictured above assuming it was up for grabs  Apparently I can’t resist an antique…

There is a giant projector of sorts taking up a lot of the up for grabs shelf. Maybe it’s time for that to go away…
