Dust collector grant report β€” check out the deetz! πŸ‘€

The dust collector upgrade this year was an incredible feat with big thanks to countless volunteers and staff that made it physically possible. The project itself was started because of a grant awarded to us by the Cameron Foundation that provided a majority of the capital to make it happen with generous donors from the community stepping up to fill the gap ensuring we installed the best possible system.

We prepared this grant report to recap the project with details on the finances, measured impact, and tons of fun photos from the install weekend to capture the incredible community effort that made this possible. Check it out to learn more about this project and see the Asmbly village that installed our behemoth dust collector :raising_hands:

Great job @valerie on the report,

This massive upgrade demonstrates perfectly that when our community and an horde of motivated member volunteers get together, everything is possible. As your report indicates, there were countless hours and months spent planning the layout, optimizing the equipment and ducting layout, looking ahead to future proof new equipment investments and planning a detail’s of actual process of removing the old dust collector and installing the new one. I cannot emphasize enough how much thought and time went into the preplanning of this project to pull if off in three days.

I’m proud of what Asmbly and the Cameron Foundation accomplished together and hope we have more opportunities to work together the future.
