Yesterday I setup the small, red, wood lathe to buff a project.
What I found was not encouraging.
The main driver belt was on the verge of breaking, see below.
It seems to be infrequently used so probably not a high priority
but I didn’t feel comfortable using it and am simply reporting.

I’ve definitely not looked at that once recently due to that very reason. Thank you for bringing that to my attention, I’ll make sure to watch over that one more closely going forward.
I’ll be in either today or tomorrow to do some maintenance items. I’ll look into that belt to get a replacement. Do you need it urgently @TravisGood ? I can try to expedite if so.

My project was a learning exercise that can wait.
I’ll just keep my ear to the ground listening for an update.
Looks like Penn State doesn’t sell that belt anymore. Found a third party one that looks reasonable and ordered that. Thanks again for mentioning this!
