The fence is about a year old and in bad shape, for the woodshop drill press.
Would anyone be interested in helping to make a new one?

Is there a microjig dovetail bit around?
I looked at the current fence tonight, it’s two pieces of MDF butt joined in an L shape and the fence piece has a microjig dado. I could make one if I had the router bit.
Aside: making microjig jigs might be easier if the router table fence was more reliable / precise.
I believe it was mentioned there was a dovetail in the stewards toolbox.
I think we have one of those bits in the stewards toolbox, but I’m pretty sure it’s a standard/common size of dovetail bit.
It should. The slight difference with the matchfit bit is that has a radius at the top of the dovetail.
Is it worth purchasing the specific match fit dovetail bit for all future match fit projects?
I don’t think it is necessary. A little bit of sanding or filing on the edges would accomlish the same thing.
