I’m not sure if someone took the old drill press fence hardware to use in a specialty fence (not really appropriate), or if someone was intending to make a general purpose fence but didn’t understand the constraints (in which case I applaud the effort). In either case, I took that fence and reconstructed it into a true general purpose fence, replacing the old one which had been coming apart.
