The chuck key was missing from the wood drill press during the woodshop safety class this morning. Remember what we teach in that class: that key is either in your hand or hanging on the magnet on the side — nowhere else!
Whoever took it from the drill press needs to return it there immediately.
I was just thinking the other day how cool it is that we’ve had that drill press so long and I’ve never seen the chuck key go missing 
I found a chuck key under the tool wall when we moved it on Friday. I have no clue what it belongs too or if it’s even the correct size, nor can I fathom how it could it end up under the tool walls. I set it down on a bench and completely forgot about it as we’re still moving benches around. It’s entirely possible as I was leaving it came home with me as I packed up my belongings 
I’ll go searching through my stuff and see if it did follow me home. If so, I’ll bring it in first thing tomorrow morning.
Yep, the little guy followed me home. He’s back on the drill press!
