Hello! I’ve been posting recently about the cutting boards I’m making, figured I’d share the first one I completed (as a Christmas gift!)

I also made a few boards as gifts and just learned that: if you plan on wrapping it to give to someone after it’s oiled, you can first wrap it in butcher paper so the wrapping paper on top doesn’t muck it up.

Yeah I made sure to wrap it in some paper first lol.

Just gave it to the recipient today since he’s leaving the city tomorrow.

I’m super happy with how the padauk looks when oiled. Took on almost a blood-red color that looks really nice.
