I want to cut out profiles of a 3D model.
I have the profile shape as a line drawing (and coordinates for a path).
I want to make the profile say 15mm thick on the inside edge to maintain the correct shape of the profile.
What software can I use to do this?
If you mean a 2d or flat profile when you say you have a line drawing you can use Lightburn, Vcarv, and Coreldraw. Lightburn and V carv call it “offset.” Coreldraw calls it contour. All three you can go in or out and set the with or “thickness” as you call it. All three can work in MM or inches. Adobe has the same feature.
