Concurrent bookings with the 25 hour limit

Do concurrent bookings count separately towards our 25 hours per week limit? For example, if I book a ceramics wheel and ceramics table both between 2-4 pm, this counts as 4 total hours? Skedda currently counts it as 4 hours, and I think this is what the ceramics CSI wiki means:

All hours count toward your 25 hour limit for the week on bookable tools.

Just wanted to double check this, since it’s useful to lay stuff out on a table while using the wheel. And I couldn’t find any other mention of the 25 hour policy in the wiki (search)

Hey Robby!

Concurrent bookings in Ceramics (Wheel + Table(s)) do count toward your total 25 hour booking limit. So, in your case, booking 1 table and 1 wheel from 2-4PM would total 4 hours of time.

I do not anticipate that changing in the Ceramics space, however, I am aware that the throwing support table (the table that runs the length of the wheels) is not adequate for holding pieces as you throw and really serves more to hold tools while throwing.

I am exploring options to add a surface for wheel throwers to rest their pieces during their session before wiring off and moving to their shelves. We do currently have the shelf outside that can used for this purpose, but I understand that isn’t always a great option depending on the weather/wind conditions.
