I want to get a composite nailer to use with my CNC. Is the Omer / Raptor combination at Asmbly the go to? I saw Senco makes a composite nailer as well. Any recommendations on brand and gauge size?
Omar is the original. I do like Senco guns. I think they are higher quality than the typical nail gun
The one and only company that makes the Raptor nails is in Hutto. If you need a demo of their stuff in other nail sizes than we use on the CNC, they may be able to help.
Did their patent expire? They appear to have competition now.
If you buy one, buy the larger gun. I think the increqsed capacity is worth the cost.

Utility patents typically last 20 years, so it would have likely expired depending on when they started.
I spoke with Jeff at Raptor and he is providing me a demo Omar nailer and an assortment of nails to try out. It’s a no brainer to go with them considering they’re in Hutto.
Apparently their website was recently hacked and so their webstore is offline, so just give them call to place orders.
