Our next Community Work Day will be on Saturday, July 13th, from 9AM to 5PM!
On this day, the shop will be closed for personal use as we come together to tackle some much-needed projects to enhance our space.
Asmbly thrives as a volunteer-run, community-driven space, and it’s events like these that keep our environment thriving and growing. We have several key projects on the docket, including:
Woodshop projects
Electrical improvements
General cleaning and tidying
We encourage you to join us for as much time as you can spare. Whether you can contribute an hour or stay the whole day, every bit of help makes a significant impact.
To show our appreciation, we’ll be providing breakfast, lunch, and beverages to keep everyone fueled throughout the day.
Thanks for being a part of Asmbly! We’ll see you there!
We have some big lifts in the Woodshop. Swap out the table top on Sawstop 1. Re-install the over arm dust connector on Sawstop 2. Expand the center of the miter station to better fit the new saw. Rotate/ replace carbides on the jointer and planer, and recondition/ resurface all of the cast iron.
Mechanical experience is greatly appreciated, though not required.
