CNC SIG Meeting this Sunday @ 9am with Jig & Origin Revelations!

Hello fellow CNCers!

It’s time to grab that collet handy & slap that bit right in! As you can tell, I’m excited about the CNC SIG this Sunday, and I know you are too! This is a time where we share helpful information that will make us better CNCers. This Sunday we will be going over how to set up jigs and align the origin. Think of this as setting up dogholes so you can create a repeatable process when CNCing. Dogholes have saved me a lot of time in the past, and I think they’ll save you a lot of time as well.

Also, as a reminder to those who like to share their own works at these meetings (which is always a blast), the theme is twofold: “A Hero’s Journey” or “Stuff that Works Well in the Kitchen.” Pick your favorite theme & go with it–we’d love to hear what you’ve learned.

Cya guys soon!

I will be out of state. This is a topic I am interested in and know a bit about. I would attend virtually if that were an option.

A virtual addition to the meeting is something I’ve wanted to try. I’ll include a Zoom link to try it out this weekend. No promises on it, as I havent had a chance to run practice it first, but we’ll see how it goes.
